Intructions for installing custom cursors on your desktop.

"Open With" dialog box

NOTE: If you double-click or try to "open" a cursor file (.cur & .ani), you will get an "Open With" dialog box. All this means is that you do not have a special cursor "editing" or "viewing" program, but you do not need one to use your new desktop cursors.


Windows XP users:


1. Click your window's "START" button on your taskbar. Start Button
2. Select "CONTROL PANEL" Control

3. Find the "MOUSE" icon and click it. mouse
4. Select the "POINTERS" tab.

5. Highlight the old cursor you want to change and click "Browse".
6. Find the new cursor and double-click it.
7. Click "Apply" or "OK".

3. Select "CONTROL PANEL" control panel
4. Find the "MOUSE" icon and click it. mouse
5. Select the "POINTERS" tab.

7. Find the new cursor and double-click it.
7. Click "Apply" or "OK".
